experiential lawyer training platform to expand on its 52-month
growth trajectory
NEW
YORK, April 18, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ --
AltaClaro, the leading experiential training platform for lawyers,
today announced it has added two key hires to its team: experienced
litigator, law professor and legal writing expert Patricia Libby and legal tech marketer
Meg McEvoy. These hires reflect
AltaClaro's strategic growth as it enables more AmLaw and National
Law Journal-ranked firms to reduce training costs and stem
associate turnover via AltaClaro's science-backed education
programs.
"We're seeing more firms looking to reduce
their legal training costs and ramp up associate performance
sooner. These hires will power our growth and help us continue to
meet the training needs of the legal market." -Abdi Shayesteh, CEO and Founder of
AltaClaro.
Launched in 2017 by former deal lawyers who worked
in Biglaw and Silicon Valley, AltaClaro helps law firms
effectively and efficiently train their lawyers at scale.
AltaClaro's platform leverages a unique, proprietary approach to
experiential learning that helps professionals gain the skills they
need to become practice-ready in safe environments. AltaClaro has
created a scalable solution for law firms to dramatically improve
lawyer engagement and retention while massively reducing a firm's
training and development costs.

University of Southern California's
Gould School of Law in 2010 where she taught legal writing and
advocacy, and litigation skills. Patricia is a graduate of
Stanford University and received her
J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she was an editor of the UCLA
Law Review.
AltaClaro's new Director of Marketing, Meg McEvoy, will spearhead marketing, brand and
communications initiatives for the growing legal edtech company.

"I am delighted about the addition of these two talented hires
to the AltaClaro team," said Abdi

of experience as a practitioner will be invaluable as she guides
our unique, experiential approach to legal training. We're seeing
more firms looking to reduce their legal training costs and ramp up
associate performance sooner, and we're looking forward to how
these hires will power our growth and help us continue to meet the
training needs of the legal market."
