Loonie Mixed Ahead Of Canada Retail Sales

At 8:30 am ET Friday, Statistics Canada will release Canada
retail sales for December.
Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major
counterparts. While the loonie dropped against the aussie, it rose
against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 83.78 against the yen, 0.9413 against the
aussie, 1.4983 against the euro and 1.3222 against the greenback as
of 8:25 am ET.
