Orange 2018 Revenue Rose on Growth in France, Spain

Orange (ORA.FR) said Thursday that it met its 2018 guidance on
the back of strong revenue growth in core markets including France
and Spain.
Revenue in 2018 rose to 1.3% to 41.38 billion euros ($46.95
billion), the French telecommunications company said. Revenue in
the fourth quarter rose 1.4% to EUR10.8 billion
Net profit in 2018 rose to EUR1.95 billion from EUR1.84 billion
in 2017, Orange said.
Orange said revenue in France and Spain rose 0.9% and 2.2% on
year to EUR18.2 billion and EUR5.35 billion, respectively. Revenue
increased 5.1% in the Middle East and Africa to EUR5.19 billion in
2018, Orange said.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and
amortization rose 1.4% to EUR13 billion. Adjusted Ebitda for the
fourth quarter rose 1.4% on year to EUR3.33 billion.
Operating cash flow rose 1.7% to EUR5.6 billion, Orange
said.
The company said it will propose a dividend of EUR0.70 at its
general meeting.
