Pound Slightly Up After U.K. Retail Sales

(RTTNews) - Following the release of the U.K. retail sales for January at 4.30 am ET Thursday, the pound rose slightly against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.2913 against the greenback, 144.40 against the yen, 1.2689 against the franc and 0.8365 against the euro around 4:35 am ET.
