MILL VALLEY, Calif.,
Oct. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ --
The most experienced travelers in the world have named 11 Auberge
Resorts Collection hotels and resorts as among the very best in the
world in Condé Nast Traveler's 2019 Readers' Choice Awards. Of the
10,000 properties rated by more than 600,000 readers, Auberge
properties are distinguished as the highest-rated and most-admired
in some of the world's most alluring destinations.
Auberge Resorts Collection is the only brand with two properties
on the list of the Top 50 Resorts in the World, with Esperanza in Los
Cabos, Mexico, and Nanuku in Fiji. These two resorts also were ranked No. 1
in their respective regions of Mexico and Australia/South Pacific.
Nanuku is Auberge's idyllic island escape renowned for its
sublime beachfront setting and rich Fijian culture, where every
guest feels like family. Esperanza, the romantic resort perched on a
private coastal bluff, is reknowned for its culinary excellence and
barefoot luxury. Also in Los
Cabos, nearby sister property, Chileno Bay Resort &
Residences, the contemporary-cool beachfront enclave, has been
honored as the No. 2 resort in Mexico West.
In Northern California, Auberge
was the most-awarded luxury hotel brand, with three properties
among the best in the region: Napa
Valley flagship Auberge du Soleil, renowned for its culinary
roots, spectacular views and exceptional service, Calistoga Ranch,
a private canyon hideaway that invites immersion into nature and
Wine Country culture, and Solage, a vibrant and spirited
Napa Valley playground, where
guests and local winemakers gather together to celebrate the Good
Life.
On the opposite coast in New England, Mayflower Inn & Spa,
the exquisite country estate in Washington, Conn., was honored as the No. 2
hotel in New England. The Vanderbilt, a
boutique hotel set in a Gilded Age Newport, R.I., mansion, also received a
Readers' Choice accolade, giving Auberge Resorts Collection more
top resorts in the region than any other luxury brand.
Malliouhana, Auberge's glamorous oceanfront resort on the island
of Anguilla, where modern
sophistication meets island splendor, and private coves and
sugar-white sands beckon, was voted among the best resorts in the
Caribbean. Across the world and
overlooking the Aegean, Grace Hotel Santorini, a cliff-top
sanctuary offering the island's best sunset views, most innovative
dining and unforgettable explorations of hidden beaches and
boutique wineries, was voted one of the top resorts in Europe and Greece.
"We are thrilled and gratified that so many properties in the
Auberge collection have been honored by the readers of Condé Nast
Traveler," said Craig Reid, Chief
Executive Officer, Auberge Resorts Collection. "The awards reflect
the efforts and passion of our remarkable staff to deliver
unforgettable experiences with heartfelt care in every spectacular
Auberge destination. Every day, our team strives to make Auberge
the best-loved collection of hotels and resorts in the world. We're
grateful for the partnership of our owners, who share our passion
for excellence and support the creation of such extraordinary
properties, and we appreciate the recognition of our efforts from
such distinguished awards as Condé Nast Traveler Readers'
Choice."
In the first year as a global brand, Condé Nast Traveler
combined the annual surveys in the United
States and the United
Kingdom into one global Readers' Choice Awards list.
Considered the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of
excellence in the travel industry, over a half a million Condé Nast
Traveler readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of
thousands of comments, sharing their recent travel experiences to
provide a full snapshot of today's traveler's most storied
destinations.
The Readers' Choice Awards are announced in the November issue
