Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) said Thursday it would open a fulfillment center in Idaho, its first in that state, which will employ more than 1,000 in full-time positions.

Workers of the 650,000-square-foot facility will work alongside Amazon robotics. The facility, which will be located in Nampa, is expected to open next year.

Amazon said workers will receive a $15 minimum wage, comprehensive benefits and access to continuing education opportunities.
