British healthcare software business Sensyne Health PLC (SENS.LN) said Thursday that it is expanding its collaboration with Bayer AG (BAYN.XE) to include cardiovascular diseases.

Sensyne said it will work with the German pharmaceutical and chemicals company to develop artificial intelligence technology that can help with radiology. The first project will aim at developing automated image evaluation.

The London-listed company said the partnership will also leverage Sensyne's relationship with the U.K. National Health Service, giving access to millions of anonymised patient records in order to provide imaging data.
