Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN) said Monday that it has appointed Vinod Kumar, former managing director and chief executive of Tata Communications Ltd. (500483.BY), as CEO of its business division and executive committee member.

Mr. Kumar will join the company on Sept. 2.

The U.K.-based telecommunications group said Mr. Kumar succeeds Vivek Badrinath, who has been acting as interim CEO of Vodafone Business since March.
