Total Eren and EDF Renewables have signed contracts to develop four solar-power plants in India via their Eden Renewables India joint venture, the companies said Monday.

Eden Renewables will build one 450 megawatt plant in Rajasthan and three plants with a combined capacity of 266 megawatts in Uttar Pradesh, the companies said.

Construction is due to start by the end of this year and commissioning is expected towards the end of 2020.

Total Eren develops, finances, builds and operates renewable energy plants and is 30% owned by Total SA (FP.FR). EDF Renewables is an affiliate of Electricite de France SA (EDF.FR).
